AvtoVAZ says to delay mass production of Lada Iskra to 2025

MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ will delay the launch of mass production of Lada Iskra cars to the beginning of 2025 from the end of 2024, CEO Maxim Sokolov said on Thursday during an exhibition.

“The Lada Iskra car is another new model. The start of its production is planned for the very beginning of 2025,” Sokolov said.

“It will be the most mass-produced and affordable Russian car built on a hi-tech platform.”
